Community Involvement

We believe in our community, therefore, we give to our community ...

It is incredibly important to us to give back to our community and ensure the health of our community as best we can.  We not only provide car insurance, home insurance and business insurance to Aurora, Colorado and the Denver, Colorado, metro area, we provide service to our community.

December 7, 2011

This was a very proud day for us at Colorado Insurance Professionals, Inc.  Our very own Stephen Brunston spoke at the event, hosted by The Aurora Rotary Club of Colorado, at the 6th Annual First Responders Award Luncheon at the Red Lion Hotel.  Brunston will be speaking at the event to raise awareness and hopefully, additional funding for the Reward Fund.

The fund pays rewards for tips that help solve crimes.  Brunston was one of the originators of the Reward Fund and over the years, the fund has paid tens of thousands of dollars for tips that have helped solve crimes.  At this moment, the fund is somewhat depleted, so we need your help!  Please download the form linked below if you would like to donate!

Shots for Tots - Second Saturday, Monthly

Shots for Tots - Aurora Rotary Club

On the second Saturday of each month, the Fire Station at Hoffman Heights is opened to give vaccinations to children and teens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Shots for Tots is a cooperative effort with the Aurora Fitzsimons Rotary Club, Aurora Rotary Club, Gateway Rotary Club and Tri-County Health and the Aurora Fire Department.  These vaccinations are low cost or free.  The EMT Fireman give the shots and Tri-County keeps records and determines which shots are needed.  The Rotary Clubs help handle the traffic through the clinic, feed the volunteers and hand out toys and books to the children once they finish their vaccinations.  Aurora Fitzsimons Rotary Club is responsible for hosting and planning this event in October, November and December.

Mary Beth Brunston, an employee at Colorado Insurance Professionals, Inc., ran the clinic on November 8th and helped man the clinic on December 10th.  Mary Beth said in November the event saw 250 people come through to get shots.  Mary Beth is a past president of the Aurora Fitzsimons Rotary Club.  They have in the past hosted 5 exchange students.
